In this series, I focus on the element of water. Primarily in shades of blue - ranging from ultramarine to deep turquoise - the paintings appear both transparent and opaque on paper. In the interplay of intuition and a reflectice creative process, gesturally painted compositions come to life.
These eight watercolour paintings were formed in the south of France in november 2022. Catching light and nature onto paper.
